How does the cars computer react to changing tire size?

I can only tell you that when I had a flat tire and had that little donut tire on, it showed a message that said to check my tire pressure until I got the new tire on.How does the cars computer react to changing tire size?It could care less. How does the cars computer react to changing tire size?i believe the computer will change the odometer and even speed will be off changing the size of tires and rims i believe.

hope this helpsHow does the cars computer react to changing tire size? The computer receives the speed signal from the transmission output shaft. Therefore it is calibrated to the circumference of the tire. If you put on a tire with a larger circumference you will be traveling faster than the speedo registers. If you put on a tire with a smaller circumference you will be going slower than the speedometer registers,How does the cars computer react to changing tire size?It doesn't. If buying bigger rims, the driver has to adjust tire size accordingly to ensure the speedo is as close as possible.

For every inch you increase rim size, increase tire tread width by 10 mm, and then reduce aspect ratio by 10%.
