How often do you change your tires?

well please put what car you have, and how old you are, cause younger ppl have to change them more often, so how many miles can you go on tires?

i might just rotate my tires, then chnge the front ones cause im 17 and i use em up at a decent paceHow often do you change your tires?I have some 20's on my truck and they have been on there about 5 years I spin my tires daily and I won't look for new ones till I see threads which should be about 2 more years oh yeah I'm an old coot and I will race you any day of the week you teeny bopper. now drive like you want and replace them when they are flat.How often do you change your tires?well im 19 and ive gotten more than 40k miles out of my tires. and yes im a male and i do perform hard starts and accelerations on a regular basis. go easy on them and they will last you at least 30k miles. been driving on the same set for about 3 years now. the last set had like 45k on them. it was my moms car and she gave it to me for my bday.How often do you change your tires?I'm an old frt, so mine last as long as the manufacturer says. (30k 40k etc) But because you're young and crazy (all young folks are crazy!) try taking it to a tire store or 2 and if they're honest, they should tell you just how much wear is left and how they arrive at that figure...Hope this helps...Cheers...How often do you change your tires?Depends on the tread wear of the tires, the car and your driving habits. I have a mustang and have had tires last as low as 10,000 miles and up to 40,000. And as a time frame have had them only last one year and up to 5 years. Your typical tire (not a high performance with low tread ware) with a good tread ware rating now a days will last around 40,000 and 4+ years if you keep them proper inflated and rotated. I have had to replace tires with only 20,000 on them but were 5 years old and starting to get dry rot.How often do you change your tires?new car, irregardless of the make or model, 70 yr old and no I don't think younger people have a edge on the tire market, but new car I will change my tires about 25-30 k miles

Yes rotate your tires. Go to the book in the glove box, or just put the back ones in the front, straight ahead and cris cross the back to front. Thought provoking questionsHow often do you change your tires?i hate to say it, but i'm tough on tires. i'm always gettin flats because of the work i do with my vehicles. here's some tips from my point of view;

- check the junkyards for good tires with rims that will fit your vehicle. i just picked up a 2 stock rims with 2 matching good tires for $28 all total and about a half hour of work. so instead of payin for the install fee, i just have the 2 good rims with the good tires and i always have spares around with me - one spare under the bed rack and one in the bed of my truck against the cab.

- there's a cheapie place by me that sells good, used tires for $30 including install and balance with 20k miles (i think) or 3 month warrenty that i also utilize. might be a place by you like that, just check around.

sometimes you'll be able to haggle with a junkyard on prices of anything and always be sure to slip the dood or chick who changes your tires for you :)How often do you change your tires?You should keep your tires rotated every 6000k or so. All tires have ware bars in the tread. It is a little chunk of rubber wich tells you when you tire tread is too low to be safe, although you should not let them go that low. Use that as a guide line and replace when the tread gets close. Also check the rubber itself for cracks and check you tire pressure as well.How often do you change your tires?i have a 1988 oldsmobile delta 88, 3800 engine and i,am 61. i know i might seem old to you but i was young once too. if you have a front wheel drive you want the best tires on the front because that,s where your pulling power is at. i get several miles out of the tires i buy. i don,t buy new tires until they are worn out and i have the money for new ones. squealing tires and speeding is what burns them up. if your gone to rotate your tires keep them on the same side so you won,t reverse the belt in the tires. do it like this. front on the back and back on the front,
