How do I know if my car is ok to drive on a road trip?

My car just hit 150k, and is a 97 honda accord. I want to drive about 800 miles round trip. I want to make sure there is nothing wrong - what things do I need to check up on? and if your car leaks oil then buy some oil and carry it in your trunk just in case your oil pressure gets low meaning you need to add more oil simply add a quart and go.
