How do I release my spare tire from the bottom of my truck?

It's a 2004 Ford Ranger. It seems like there is a hole to put some kind of tool into, but I can't seem to find it under the hood or anywhere that I have checked.



Please if anybody can help me with this I will greatly appreciate it. I depend on my vehicle so I really need to change that tire. The 'tool' that you put in the hole is part of the jack.

The location of the jack tools varies depending on the body style of the cab %26amp; the chart for the locations is on page 149.
